ShastraSarani
Empowering Women through Tradition and Modernity
AN INTEGRATED PATHASHALA FOR BRAHMIN WOMEN
Shastra Sarani stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment for young women, envisioned and established by Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal under the divine blessings of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. His vision is deeply rooted in the belief that education should not only empower women academically but also spiritually and culturally. By focusing on Sampradayam (traditional values), Shastra Sarani creates a nurturing environment for women to connect with their heritage and moral values while preparing them to face the challenges of a modern world.
Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal's mission is to guide Indian Brahmin girls along a path of cultural pride and holistic learning. His goal is to foster an education system that creates leaders, thinkers, and professionals who are firmly rooted in Indian traditions while excelling globally.
Our Belief
“TRIJATA”, commonly known as the 3 plait symbolizes the Sanathana dharma and women as the torch bearers of Sanathana dharma. With the center strand symbolizing “Sampradaya” (culture) and the other two strands representing “Satyam” (Truth) and “Dharmam” (Righteousness) and also “Shraddha” (Sincerity) and “Bhakthi” (Devotion), the integration of these qualities is what makes a women truly empowered (नारी शक्ति).
